About this endpoint

Zodicast publishes daily and yearly horoscope readings. The reading pages are generated ahead of time; everything that does not change per reader is served from this separate hostname.

Why a separate host

• Asset responses need long cache lifetimes, while the editorial pages are revalidated often. Splitting the hostnames keeps both policies simple.
• The illustration set is reused by the newsletter and by print exports, which are produced outside the site build.
• Keeping binaries away from the editorial origin keeps its deployment small and its logs readable.

Production

Sign plates and chart frames are drawn in-house and exported from a single source file per collection. Photography is either commissioned or drawn from the project's own archive. Nothing on this host is licensed stock material, and nothing is generated at request time.
